Each similar post clearly states that this is inspiration for me and as you yourself said... I obviously didn't create it. Is there really any point in me stating the obvious... I don't feel that I need to dumb-down the readers of this blog by doing that when they can CLEARLY see in the credits of the video who the creator was. I love the videos so I love to share them and in no way claim them as my own work. If the owner does not want them to be re-posted and shared then the owner can quite easily disable the embedding. I see nothing wrong with sharing other people's great work with the readers of my blog. Take a look at www.wimp.com and the hundreds of other video aggregation sites out there to see a precedent for this type of content sharing. There are credits in the videos themselves which will lead any person interested in seeing more to follow back to the creators site and vimeo page. I really can't see why you feel like I am claiming this work as my own when it is obvious that I am not, so I will continue to share the great work that inspires me with my blog readers. In the spirit of sharing, I will make more of an effort to include a direct link to the website of the content creator so that it is a little easier for the less observant reader to follow.
